Premier League players who could be loaned

Here are five players should consider loaning this summer.

  1. Josh Harrop

Josh Harrop stole the show in Manchester United's final game of the 2016/17 season. His years of slogging through United's youth ranks culminated in his debut against Crystal Palace as he made his presence felt with almost every touch of the ball.

A loan move to another Premier League side would constitute his best chance of getting regular time.

2) Patrick Roberts

Roberts played a key role in Celtic’s league and cup triumphs as he registered 19 assists in all competitions. Roberts’ time at Celtic has proven that he’s capable of making the leap to a higher level and with Manchester City not in a position to offer him regular playing time, he’s definitely a player Premier League sides should consider loaning.

3)  Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a popular figure amongst Chelsea fans given he’s one of the few young players to have made it into the first-team in recent years. The England U21 international made six Premier League appearances last season, all of which were off the bench.

4) Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham prolifi

cacy shone through during his loan spell at Bristol City last season. He’s regarded as one of the best players in Chelsea’s loan army, and with good reason, given he managed to bag 26 goals for The Robins.

5) Trent Alexander-Arnold

The 18-year-old is one of the most highly-rated youngsters at Liverpool  and with good reason. Liverpool snapped him up on a long-term deal last year in a bid to ward off potential suitors. A loan move to a Premier League side at this stage of his career would help his development seeing as his opportunities at Liverpool next season could be limited.
