Uganda Cranes striker, Nelson Senkatuka, is delighted with his first goal in the national colors.
The Bright Stars captain netted a late equaliser as Uganda shared spoils with Guinea in a Chan 2018 build up in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday.
The striker was also impressed with the overall performance though he feels the team conceded a cheap goal that cost them a win.
- It feels good to score the first goal [for the national team]. It wasn't easy because it was the first match with the coach but I think we were the better side in the first half. We conceded a sloppy goal. We should have won the game if we held on for a longer period, Senkatuka said.
Senkatuka had previously scored for the team in a Cranes tour against Eastern region but had not scored in an international match.
Uganda will play one more practice game against Congo on Tuesday in Rabat before travelling to Marakesh for the group stages.
