Simeon Masaba joins Onduparaka technical bench

Onduparaka Football Club has appointed former Uganda Cranes right back Simeon Masaba as an assistant coach to Livingstone Mbabazi.

Masaba has been serving as a trainer at URA since his retirement two years ago.

The club announced the news on Wednesday morning, a day after joining the club officially. He was unveiled by the club chairman Benjamin Nyakuni.

- We really needed an assistant coach on this team just like many of the big teams across the globe and we believe in Simeon. He has proved to us that he really wants to work with us as he was only informed two days ago but managed to travel immediately, said Nyakuni.

The club used the same occasion to unveil a striker, Malish Jamal, who is filling the void left with the exit of Alfred Leku. Malish signed late last year but could not feature because the transfer period had passed.
