Emmanuel Rubankene has a chance to cement his place in Kirinya Jinja SSS goal after being named ahead of newly signed Didi Muhammad in the squad to face Seeta in Uganda Cup round 64.
The team's head coach, Charles Ayiekoh, has reiterated the need to win the game as the team prepares for the league. He has however cautioned about the threat posed by the lower tier side after quality build ups.
"Our intention is to go out and win the game," Ayiekoh said. "We have some knowledge about the team; they're not a simple opponent because they have played several build up games against URA, Maroons and some top sides and only lost one game. So we are aware of what they can do. "
Ayiekoh has revealed that his newly signed goalkeeper Didi Muhammad could not make the list because he has just returned from the sickbay after suffering with malaria for over a week.
The club starts new life without five of their former players including Ibrahim Kayiwa, Faisal Muledhu, Mustapha Mugoya, Isaac Mugisha and Derrick Sekulima who parted ways last month.
