Senior Arsenal players reportedly want ex-striker Thierry Henry to be given a job at the club.
Speaking at a recent interview, a source from within the Emirates said, “It’s a no-brainer. Just seeing Thierry on the training pitch would set the pulses racing. It’s what many of them would like to see. But whether Arsene goes for it is another matter.”
Henry recently went on record to admit that it would be hard to say no if the Gunners came calling with a post on their technical job since his heart is still at the club, where he wrote his football legacy by leading them to major honours and becoming their all-time record goalscorer.
The Frenchman is currently working as an assistant to Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez and is admittedly looking to put the high football IQ that he displayed on the pitch to good use by pursuing a managerial career.
