Arsene Wenger registered his 700th win as Arsenal boss in their weekend 3-0 win over Watford.
Goals from centre-back Shkodran Mustafi, striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan ensured that the manager not only achieved the awe-inspiring fete but also gift the English side their 1000th Premier League home goal in the process.
Wenger’s first win as manager came in 1996 after club legend Ian Wright scored a double against former Premier League side Blackburn Rovers - a performance that kick-started a tenure of over 21 years at the Emirates for Le Professeur.
The Frenchman has won three Premier League titles and an impressive seven FA Cup trophies, making him arguably one of the most successful managers in the top-tier competition despite the struggles that the club has had over the past few years.
